I love telling people I was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Little kids laugh at how funny the name sounds, and adults who have only ever known me as a British Columbian often raise their eyebrows in surprise.
I have had the distinct privilege of living in many beautiful places in Western Canada. My birthplace was Saskatchewan, “Land of the Living Skies,” where the level plains of golden wheat fields are contrasted by a brilliant, ever-changing sky.
