This week’s photo challenge from The Daily Post is to show the effect of time and the elements. I instantly thought of the rock faces found on Christmas Hill in Saanich, BC, part of the Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary.
These rock faces have an interesting texture moulded by glaciers and pounded by centuries of west coast rain.
When my husband and I climbed Christmas Hill on a hike a few years ago, we stood at the top and thought, “Who else has stood here over time?”
How has the view from the top changed over the years?
What will it look like in the future? Only time will tell.
